Hi, I’m Melissa!

I photograph women in moments that change the way they see themselves.

Before boudoir, I was a birth photographer. And while many people focus on the baby, labor was always my favorite part. The moment a woman realizes just how strong, instinctual, and beautiful she truly is, that transformation is what led me to boudoir.

Most women walk into my space carrying stories about their bodies, things they’ve believed, and things they’ve learned to hide. My favorite part of this work isn’t the click of the camera, but the moment she finally sees herself and thinks, Oh. That’s me.
